Continuing Education Credit: Members of NAADAC or AccuCare Subscribers receive 2 FREE CEs for attendance.  Non-members of NAADAC or Non-subscribers of AccuCare receive 2 CEs for $25.  All applicants for CE credit are required to complete the “CE Quiz” after the presentation and submit it to NAADAC for grading, along with the processing fee, if applicable. A CE certificate will be emailed to you within 30 days.

Description: Conflict Resolution for Clients and Professionals is a skilled-based therapeutic educational training that is focused on the brain, specifically how it works in conflict and how to affect the quality of recovery in relationships. The tools outlined in the presentation, produced in partnership with Orion Healthcare Technology, have been designed to help reduce relapse and sustain recovery of adult and adolescent substance use, abuse and dependent persons by improving their conflict resolution knowledge, attitudes and skills.  At the end of the live presentation, participants will be able to ask questions of the presenter and receive immediate answers.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of participating in this webinar, you will be able to:
  • Effectively translate to alcohol/drug clients conflict resolution, communications skills and types of healthy communication;
  • Use and understand the conflict mode instrument;
  • Relate conflict resolution styles to family of origin; and
  • Better manage relationships and help relate these steps to resolving conflict.

Recovery Month

The Nevada Alliance for Addictive Disorders, Advocacy, Prevention and Treatment Services (Nevada AADAPTS) would like to invite you to participate in our National Recovery Month Activities.
